Caitlin & Patrick came all the way from Australia to the island of Ios to celebrate with their family and friends their love. I was charmed by them from the first video call. The way they talked about how they imagined their wedding, their warm words, and their nostalgia about the island. All these inspired me and I wanted to offer them the best memories for them to keep forever.
Ios is mesmerizing, especially in September, when the weather is mellow and the island slows its rhythm after summer’s partying. That amazing Aegean light accompanied us throughout the day, offering unique moments.
Flowers was the main theme of this wedding. Flowers of every size and colour, as Caitlin and Patrick love flowers. MBW Events took this love and created an elegant and sophisticated look for this beach wedding.

All these soft pink and pumpkin orange roses, astilbe, lavender, azaleas and eucalyptus… I could not take my eyes off them! What a view… a heaven made of flowers against the magic blue of the Greek island! A combination made of dreams!
The ceremony on the beach was emotional, with the celebrant’s words and the melodies coming from the musician’s guitar. Everyone was swept away by the location and the tenderness that Caitlin and Patrick shared in front of them. Every little detail came together to complement their love story…
