A Truly Unforgettable Wedding in Lefkada

What an incredible wedding in Lefkada, one that words can hardly describe. Emma and Daan chose this island because it holds a special place in their hearts. Although they live in the Netherlands, Lefkada has been their summer haven for years, a place they return to again and again. It felt only natural to celebrate their wedding in the destination that has given them so many beautiful memories. Their wedding was a true labor of love. Emma poured her heart into every detail, creating a DIY celebration that reflected her personality, intimate, thoughtful, and full of authenticity. Everything carried her touch: warm, personal, and filled with meaning.

Their families flew in from the Netherlands to share this meaningful day with them. One of the most emotional moments was their first look. As Emma walked toward Daan before the ceremony, her eyes sparkled with tears of happiness, and the moment felt still, tender, and full of love. The ceremony took place right by the sea, where their loved ones offered heartfelt words, creating a setting as honest and pure as the couple themselves. Afterward, we continued the celebration in a seaside tavern with delicious Greek food, good wine, laughter, and the kind of joy that fills a room effortlessly.

A Day-After Session at Egremni

The next day, we had our photography session at the breathtaking Egremni Beach, one of Lefkada’s most iconic landscapes. There is truly nothing like that view, the endless horizon, the impossible shades of blue, the towering cliffs that give the beach its unique character. Being there with the couple felt like standing inside a postcard that had come to life. I always treasure the day-after sessions. Couples are relaxed, full of beautiful emotions from the wedding, and truly themselves. And when the location is as extraordinary as Egremni, the experience becomes a gift.
