Santorini. The island of absolute blue.
A place with more than 260 little churches, unforgettable energy, and a deep sense of serenity that stays with you long after you leave. Unless you happen to be in Oia at sunset, you may feel as if you are standing in the middle of Times Square in New York. Sunset in Oia is an experience of its own, full of people, movement, and excitement.
Even so, the magic of Santorini remains unique. This is why so many people from all over the world choose it as a dream destination at least once in their lives.
Kuan and Shuo, an adorable couple from China, chose Santorini as one of the stops on their honeymoon. Their sweet energy and warm smiles made the entire session feel effortless. We met in Imerovigli for the first part of the shoot, then wandered through the beautiful alleys of Oia.
The weather was perfect. A gentle sea breeze, soft light, and clear skies created a calm and refreshing atmosphere. The day before, a summer storm had taken over the island, but this morning felt bright and peaceful, almost as if the island wanted to welcome them.
Kuan and Shuo were wonderful in front of the lens. They were relaxed, joyful, and full of positive energy. Their connection made every photograph feel natural and sincere.
This is one of the reasons I love my work. Photography gives me the chance to meet beautiful people from around the world and share moments that stay in my heart.
