Boudoir is a French word referring to a woman’s private salon, but can also refer to a woman’s private bedroom. Now, the term “boudoir” may also be ascribed to a genre of photography, used to photograph people in lingerie, usually in more sensual poses.

Boudoir Photography has become a statement, especially between brides, who wishes to give the album of their boudoir session as a present to the groom on the wedding night or even on their anniversary.

When I first talked with Niki about her boudoir session, she gave me the perfect reason to do it: I want to feel pretty again. She was not only pretty during her session. She showed the astonishing and confident woman she can be. It was the perfect romantic boudoir photography session.
There was trust before, during and after the session. Without trust between the professional photographer and the person that will be in front of the lens, a boudoir session is not possible. For me it’s not just a session to show the feminine curves, the sensuality and how sexy a woman can be. My aim is to let every woman in front of my lens feel free, true, alive and safe.
