Venice The Floating City
Venice has a special place in my heart… Is one of the most charming cities in the world. Blame my origins or just Venice’s seductive ways or the mysterious atmosphere but I can never get enough of this city.
Its canals and the 400 bridges will make even the skeptics to fall in love with this city. Venice is the Queen of the Adriatic and many people call her The Floating City or The City of Canals, but locals refer to the city with the names Serenissima or La Dominante. The shallow Venetian Lagoon due to its enclosed bay forms a unique location suitable for extraordinary photography sessions.
Couple Photography
Not long ago, I have been there with my camera and with the company of beloved friends. What else could I ask? It was a dream that came true… I was in my favorite city, next to a couple in love and behind my camera! The right elements to create a magnificent couple photography session in Venice. Call it as you like… a personal photographer, travel photography, memories photo album, family photography… All I could see were two people madly in love with each other.
Iliana and Panagiotis unveiled their love and trusted me to capture their personal love story through my photographic lenses. Warm and tender glances between those two, was such an inspiration for me. Making moments stop into the infinity of time is not happening just because you press a button. People trust me that I will be there, present, with my full attention as a memory keeper for the years to come.

And that is what a passionate photographer can do: notice the little details and catch the fine line of bond between two human beings. Making the light obey to the time and concentrate to what is important to save from the oblivion of the past. It is only fair to say, that our memories need to be protected from fading out. Photographs are the evidence of our life stories!
Venice is a living proof of the fight against time decay. Prepare yourself to be overwhelmed by the decorations, the sculptures, and the magical Italian architecture. We walked with Iliana and Panagiotis at Piazza San Marco which is surrounded by historic buildings and the spectacular San Mark’s Basilica. The couple wandered around, in a great mood, dancing and laughing, teasing each other and making everyone admire them.
Photography Day Trip
The hours passed pleasantly and the couple photography session felt more like friends having a great time and taking pictures. We all were so relaxed and happy, like family. To state the obvious, the photographer is like a trusted family member and that’s the way I treat my photography shoots. I am so blessed that people appreciate my work for this feeling!
Our photography-day-trip continued to Murano and later on to Marco Polo House and Casanova Mansion. Everything was so impressive and we wanted to explore more parts of the city. Venice is an incredible location for travelers and couples! Finally, we had an ice cream, Grand Leone espresso, and a Crodino, which is an orange ginger-based aperitif. You will be surprised by how tasteful it is… Try it and thank me later!
The splendid sunset over the gondolas left us speechless. You can never say that you have visited this city if you have missed to see a Venetian sunset. Arrivederci alla prossima,Venezia!
