Christening in Greece
Christening in Spetses during June feels like a fairytale destination. Greece, in general, is a well-liked christening destination especially during summer time because of its blooming landscape and the gorgeous sea. Spetses island is famous for its marvelous churches and its mild weather. Katia’s parents when they were planning her christening, choose Spetses because they love deeply this island.
Christening Day
The sky had different plans for the day and seemed to be in an autumn mood, with a heavy rain and unwelcoming winds. But Katia’s family stood up and saved the day. Her parents Irene & John didn’t permit the weather to disturb Katia’s christening.
They put in action the backup plan and the baptism was moved in a nearby church, protected from the weather. These are the benefits of having as your mother one of the most experienced event planners in Greece. Irini is always ready for the unexpected with a variety of options. Rain outside but tones of sunshine inside! How great was that! The good mood continued for the rest of the day. Even the fact that the church venue changed since the showers did not allow us to stick to the original plan, everyone was enjoying the day. The kids keep drawing in their play corner and all family members and friends were laughing and dancing.
Christening Ceremony
Katia looked so happy and she was a true lady, sharing her smile with everyone. She did not even shed a tear during the christening ceremony! What a champ! Before and after the baptism, this little angel was laughing and socializing with everyone, showing her positive disposition and enjoying her day. Katia was in love with the amazing decorations in big pink peonies that apparently looked very scrumptious to her.
Everything was planned and organized wonderfully. Decorations were so bright and beautiful that none of us got the feeling that summer was suddenly turning into autumn. The christening favors were tuned in harmony with the flowers and the elegant style of the baptism. The sweets and the cake were astonishing! Accompanied printables added a touch a greatness in Katia’s after christening celebrations. A new child, got its new name, into the path of God’s Grace & Blessing.
The party was so heartwarming… I wish it could last forever. Katia was so happy and glorious in her christening gown, sharing smiles all over the place. What a great day! I still remember the people dancing and laughing for hours. Sweet and fair Katia, I wish you for your whole life to be as bright as that day!
