Dreamy Christening in Cyprus
Cyprus is a big island country in the eastern Mediterranean Sea south of the Anatolian Peninsula. Continentally, it is often placed in Western Asia while being culturally tied to Southeast Europe. The christening took place in Limassol, which is a beautiful city on the southern coast of Cyprus.
It’s known for the centuries-old Limassol Castle, home to the Cyprus Medieval Museum and its collection of pottery and tombstones. On the seafront is the Prokymea (Molos) Sculpture Park, with sculptures by Cypriot, Greek, and international artists. To the northeast is the Limassol Archaeological Museum, exhibiting artifacts from the Neolithic to the Roman periods.
Apart from the breathtaking beauty of this island, there is one more thing that makes this christening special and dear. I know this couple from the days there were preparing for their marriage in Spetses, back in 2016. There are not many times that I remain speechless. But their wedding day was adorable. Stephanie and Christopher, enjoying every single step of their big day in Spetses.
Our path start when we first met through Skype because Stephanie and Christopher were from Cyprus. Some months later we had the chance of meeting in person and discussing all the beautiful wedding details during their pre-wedding photo session in Athens. But before even meeting them for the first time, I knew that this couple is a true love story made to last forever. They had such amazing energy! Capturing their daughter’s christening is more than rewarding. Being part of their life journey, makes me feel like part of their family. And I am so thankful for that gift!
